Sarawak's first incubator for food entrepreneur
SAGO Incubator is an 11-week, full-time and intensive incubator programme to equip foodpreneurs with the following skills and networks to grow their food business and succeed in the digital economy. Throughout the 11-week, you will attend workshops, masterclasses, demonstrations, exclusive events and learn from some of the best in the industry!
The programme runs from the end of May until mid-August 2022.
Strengthen your current skills and further develop your creativity and innovation to commercialise new food products, processes and services. Learn from the experts and indulge in learning more about native Sarawak ingredients and our unique cuisines.
Develop your business fundamentals, from digital marketing to finance, to manage and grow your business. Learn from experienced and successful foodpreneurs and digital food service providers to develop your growth & digitalisation plan.
Sell and test your market (or a new market segment) for your product. Access commercial spaces during the program for you to conduct sales and leverage on a network of partners and community to cross-market and sell your products.

Who is this program for?
Are you the foodpreneur we are looking for? If you fit the following criteria, apply now!
- at least 6-months into your food business
- minimum 18 years old
- willing to commit fully to the whole duration of the programme
- able to be based in Kuching during the programme
- your food products celebrates the native ingredients or unique dishes of Sarawak
- passionate about food & growing your food business

Foraging at The Hills
The culmination of the end of SAGO Incubator will be a Sarawak Day Food Festival called “Foraging at The Hills” to celebrate the unique native ingredients and cuisines of Sarawak, and our strength in diversity.
The festival will showcase the talented food legends in Sarawak, as well as our SAGO Incubator foodpreneurs. From traditional to experimental dishes, Foraging at The Hills promises visitors a multi-sensory gastronomy experience.
